This policy explains how personal data is handled when you browse the SYLVX company website and when you contact the company.
It applies to visitors from any country. It is based on Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Where another law applies to you, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK version of that regulation or US state privacy laws, the rights it grants also apply.
Who is responsible
SYLVX TECHNOLOGIES LTDA, CNPJ 30.817.088/0001-08, is the controller of the data processed for the purposes described on this page. The channel for privacy questions and requests is [email protected].
This channel receives questions and requests about the processing of personal data.
What data, and for what purposes
- Company contact. When you send an email, you share your address, name, message content and any attachments. We use this information to understand and respond to your request. Discussions about a service you request may involve steps prior to a contract. Other company contacts may be handled on the basis of legitimate interest, respecting necessity, your expectations and your rights.
- Operation and security. Serving the pages may involve IP address, date and time, the requested address and technical browser information. Hosting services use this data to deliver and protect the site, on the basis of legitimate interest where applicable.
- Obligations and rights. Information may also be processed to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation and to exercise rights in proceedings, as permitted by applicable law.
In legal terms, these purposes correspond to steps prior to entering into a contract, legitimate interests and compliance with a legal obligation or the exercise of rights (Article 7(V), (IX), (II) and (VI) of the LGPD; Article 6(1)(b), (f) and (c) of the GDPR). We do not use data from this site for solely automated decisions or for profiling.
Send only what is necessary for the contact. Avoid including passwords, identity documents, health data or other sensitive data unless they are needed and an appropriate channel has been agreed. Clicking an email link only opens your mail app; the message is sent only when you choose to send it.
Cookies, advertising and local features
This site has no registration forms, audience analytics tools or behavioural advertising. When you choose a language, the site sets the sylvx_lang session cookie with the selected language code to keep your choice as you browse. It contains no individual identifier and is not used for analytics or advertising. If no choice is saved, the site suggests a language based on your browser settings, without automatically redirecting you. Fonts, images and scripts are served with the site.
You can remove this cookie in your browser settings. The site does not use local storage, pixels or browser fingerprinting to identify visitors.
The pages do not send visitor data to Neurapify apps or to Vorthane through trackers. When you follow a link to another site, that service's privacy information applies. New features that change how data is processed will come with an update to this policy and any required choice mechanisms.
Service providers and sharing
The site uses hosting, content delivery and page protection services. These services may process technical data needed for browsing and security. Email providers may process the data needed to handle messages. Access must be limited to the purposes of the service. Data may also be disclosed to authorities when required by law or a valid order.
We do not sell personal data or share it for behavioural advertising. Products and apps in the ecosystem will have their own information about the data processing carried out by each service.
International transfers
The location of hosting and email providers may involve processing outside Brazil. Any international transfer must rely on a legal basis and mechanism accepted by the LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law) and the rules of the ANPD. You can ask through the privacy channel for information about the recipients and the safeguards that apply to your data.
Where European Union, European Economic Area or United Kingdom rules apply, international transfers must meet the conditions and safeguards required by the relevant legislation.
How long data is kept
Messages and related data are kept for as long as needed to handle and follow up on the matter. Longer retention depends on legal obligations, any contractual relationship or the need to exercise rights. Once no longer needed, data must be deleted or anonymised, except where the law requires it to be kept.
Retention periods for technical logs depend on the hosting service and its operational and security purposes. Information about the applicable retention can be requested through the privacy channel.
Your rights
Under the LGPD, you may request:
- confirmation of processing, access to and correction of your data;
- anonymisation, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed unlawfully;
- portability, subject to regulation and the rights of third parties;
- information about sharing and, where processing is based on consent, about withdrawing it, the option not to consent and the consequences;
- deletion of data processed with consent, except where the law requires it to be kept, and objection to unlawful processing carried out on another legal basis.
European Union, European Economic Area and United Kingdom. You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
United States. Depending on the state where you live, you can ask to know what data we hold, receive a copy, correct it or delete it. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights, and an authorised agent may make the request on your behalf.
Other countries. If you live elsewhere, we will honour the rights provided by the local law that applies to you.
Write to [email protected] describing your request. We may ask for identity confirmation proportionate to the case to prevent improper access. Requests are handled within the deadlines and conditions of applicable law. You can also file a petition with the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) and contact the relevant consumer protection bodies.
Requests provided for under the LGPD are handled free of charge. Deadlines depend on the request and applicable law, including up to 15 days for the complete statement provided for under the LGPD and, where applicable, the GDPR's general one-month deadline, subject to lawful extensions.
Children and teenagers
This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are responsible for a child or teenager and believe they have sent us personal data, write to the privacy contact so it can be deleted.
Security and updates
Data processing must follow technical and administrative measures appropriate to the risk. No digital service is free from incidents. If you notice a possible issue involving the site or the use of your data, get in touch without including third-party data or more information than needed to report the problem.
If a security incident could cause significant risk or harm to the people affected, we will notify the competent authority and those people within the deadlines set by the applicable law.
This policy will be reviewed when there are relevant changes to the services or the purposes of processing. The date at the top identifies the current version.
